She loves the fact that it looks classy, and is warm enough that even in the 30-40 degree weather we've been having, so far it hasn't been too cold. I don't imagine that it will keep her too warm for longer periods of time at lower temps, but it also isn't too hot that it needs to be removed at church, dinner, or in the car.
