I've pretty wide shoulders and somewhat of a protruding gut. Ordered the 2xl, it fits great right in the shoulders and chest. Sleeves are fine length too and even roomy enough to raise hands comfortably. I specifically like the convertible collar feature. It helps a lot to keep the nose warm and safer from catching a cold. The material used is supple, soft and smooth. I’ve worn it during a cold breezy night and didn’t experience any cold at all. Very warm.

I ordered my regular size, and would recommend that those who are also interested in the jacket to take a look at the size chart to make sure it will fit you before you order it.
