It was 21 degrees with a wind chill of about 6 when I wore this for the first time. Everything this coat covered with that fur collar up to protect my neck stayed toasty warm. The jacket comes to my waist covering my belly just above the belt to my jeans, so it's a little shorter than most jackets today, but the sleeves are perfect and I feel like I have room to stretch a little. Those front flap pockets are not generous but adequate enough for one pocket to hold my winter work gloves and the slash pockets are just big enough to cram my hands closed into a fist inside. So the pockets seem kinda small and tight but leather does loosen up over time so I remain hopeful. I did notice that my hands stayed toasty warm inside those pockets and that's a plus!

The zipper works efficiently so far and that flap behind the zipper is a nice touch. Another thing I noticed about this coat is the leather doesn't stink. Most new leather items have this funky odor but this coat does not. I remember our navigator on my ship had a coat like this one back in the day and I was highly covetous of his then. Mine is close enough in appearance to satisfy me. I like it. It's much heavier than my down coat that is just as warm, but it looks much nicer. If you need a warm coat this is the ticket.

Wow! For the price, I was expecting to be a little disappointed but I could not be happier. This is a quality product..I am VERY pleased. Looks just like the real deal and feels great! The flag printed is a nice touch. I'm 5'11", 175 lbs and it's a little big (bought a Large Tall), but I have room to wear a sweater underneath and still not feel restricted. That's fine with me. This is an item that you'll be leaving for someone you love someday, and it'll only get better with wear. I almost wish that I lived somewhere that stays cold longer. Good purchase!!! p.s. One of the tags attached to the hanging loop is actually a small envelope with a couple of extra buttons. Sweet.

The leather is soft and reliable but still feels pretty tough. Well lined for the cold weather. Large front inside pocket on the left. Outside pockets are a little awkward to get your hands into but are deep enough that they can rest there comfortably. No harsh 'cheap leather' smell. I think I'll get a lot of wear out of this item. Very pleased with it.

The jacket just arrived about an hour ago and I love it! I've read many favorable reviews about this jacket but kept putting off purchasing it. I finally gave in and I'm glad I did. Now, I'm thinking about purchasing one in black too.

The fit and attention to detail on this coat is great. The leather is a perfect thickness making the coat lightweight for a leather coat, but tick enough for durability. It has a semi suede look to it, but does not feel like suede. The distressed leather looks like it might have been worn for many years and has that wonderful feel that a well worn leather coat gets in time. The insulated quality construction will keep you warm, even in very cold weather.

My son asked for this flight jacket for Christmas as he has wanted one for a long time. When it arrived I could not believe how beautiful it was for the price. The company sent it very quickly and everything from buttons to zipper pulls were wrapped carefully in paper. So much attention to detail! My son was so happy to get it Christmas morning and even he could not believe how much nicer it was from what we expected. The picture just does not do it justice. He loves his new flight jacket!

It was a gift for my husband, the size was perfect. I was very pleased with the quality and price. I had trouble getting started with Angel Jackets but I talked to a man in customer service and he helped me set up my account spent a great deal of time with me. I am retired and worked in customer service for 25 years . The man gets a 5 star as well. Happy customer!

I'm very pleased with this jacket. It is a quality garment. The leather is quite nice and I believe it will be even nicer as I wear it. As seen in the description photo the jacket has an excellent lining with the American Flag. The whole jacket has the heaviness that would be expected in a military style leather jacket. I feel comfortable in recommending this jacket. I've had it only a short time and have worn it less than a dozen times so far. I find it to be quite warm enough also.

I received this jacket the day before Thanksgiving and already love it. I went for a 4-mile walk in 38 degree (F) weather and had to unzip it about 1 mile in to the walk to cool off. I ended up taking it off and finishing the walk in my t-shirt just to cool off. Definitely more of a cold-weather jacket! Great fit, and very comfortable.

I am a 2xx tall and so is my son and Coat fit exactly. Great since ordered from site also ordered for my other son who lives in N.Y. and he is 3xx big and his fit great also. This the warmest coat I have ever bought and is like advertised. Just put on 2 coats leather conditioner and it is lamb "soft. At this sale price it is a great buy.
